Microtec sold to investment firm

Clessidra Private Equity SGR has acquired Microtec, a provider of industrial scanning and optimization solutions, from Austrian firm GSS GmbH. The deal is part of Clessidra Capital Partners 4 and involves several co-investors, including Italmobiliare, ISA – Istituto Atesino di Sviluppo, Botzen Invest Euregio Finance, 035 Investimenti, BNP Paribas BNL Equity Investments, and Narval Investimenti. Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Brixen, Italy, Microtec develops hardware and software systems for quality control and process optimization in the wood and food industries.
