Falling demand and policy shifts drive down China’s log imports and prices

Decline in China’s log imports China’s log imports in the first quarter of 2025 totalled 8.07 million cubic metres valued at US$1.352 billion, down 9% in volume and 10% in value compared to the first quarter of 2024.
