Sweden: Martinsons to increase lumber production by half a million cubic meters
The Swedish sawmill and building materials manufacturer Martinsons aims to increase the production capacity of its sawmills by 550,000 cubic metres per year during 2020. SEK 120mn (EUR 11.48mn USD 13.24mn) will be invested to install a new boiler at its facilities in Bygsiljum, Sweden. Furthermore, Martinsons announced that it will invest an additional SEK 24mn to move its timber intake from its shutdown sawmill in Hällnäs to its facilities in Bygdsiljum.
