Wood trade in Finland started a little busier than usual this year
In February 2023, 5.8 million m³ of roundwood was harvested for industrial purposes in the country's forests. This figure is up 1% year-on-year and down 1% from the February average of the past five years. As a result, in January-February, 11.9 million m³ of roundwood was harvested for the Finnish timber industry. This volume is up 4% from the previous year and 1% from the five-year average.
