The Austrian average retail price for wood pellets ENplus A1 quality (6t) is currently 23.97 cents/kg or 4.89 cents/kWh. This represents a 3.7% increase over October 2017 and a 1.4% increase over September 2018.  Wood pellets have a price advantage of 85% over extra light oil and 65.6% over natural gas, during October.  Bagged pellets cost an average of € 4.06 per 15 kg bag (when ordering a pallet) or 27.04 cents / kg.
