Weather could lead to higher timber prices in Austria
Timber prices in Austria have been on a rollercoaster in recent years, and the current levels remain insufficient to offset inflation, the Forestry Association said. The sector is hoping for higher prices this summer following a season with minimal damaged wood. A solid cubic metre of good-quality timber currently costs between €110 and €120 net.
