The deadline for public consultation on President Donald Trump’s plan for tariffs on another $200 billion in Chinese imports ends this Thursday. This will come to affect a lot of wood products, coming to the US from China. Moreover, the decision comes as a response to the previous statements from the Chinese government regarding the counter-duties on various logs, lumber and panels going to China, from the US.
