US loggers call on EU to abandon anti-deforestation regulation
The American Loggers' Council (ALC) has issued a strong statement criticizing the European Union's Anti-Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), calling on Brussels to abandon the law. The council described the EUDR, which has faced “delays, changes, opposition, uncertainty, and legal issues” since its adoption, as a “misguided effort” that could undermine trade trust.
