US considers lowering duties on imports from China
The United States is considering at least partial loosening of import duties on Chinese products to accelerate trade negotiations. According to the Wall Street Journal, Steve Mnuchin , Finance Minister, has raised the idea of giving up some or all of the import duties on $ 250 billion of Chinese imports. The intention would be to get China to make concessions in the negotiations and promote the end of the trade war and long-term agreement with China.
