Swedish sawmill group Vida to limit lumber production

The Swedish sawmill group Vida, which is majority owned by the Canadian Canfor since 2018, plans to reduce lumber production in December.  According to Vida, there is currently an imbalance between supply and demand for wood products in large parts of the world. Due to this, Vida therefore plans to limit production and stand still for a longer period in connection with the Christmas holidays.  Vida is a global supplier of processed products from sustainable Swedish forests.
