The prices for timber in Sweden have experienced a notable surge. During the third quarter of 2023, there was a significant increase in the prices of sawlog and pulpwood when compared to the second quarter of the same year, as reported by the Swedish Forest Agency. Sawlog prices witnessed an 8% increase, while pulpwood prices rose by almost 6%. Regionally, Svealand saw the most significant rise in sawlog prices, with an 11% increase, followed by Götaland at 7%.
