Sweden: Sharp fall in glulam deliveries
In the first six months of this year, sales of project and stock beams in Sweden decreased by over 16 percent compared to the same period last year, according to statistics from the Swedish Wood industry organization, Svenskt Trä. Sales of glulam (glued laminated timber) declined during the first half of 2024, but there seems to be a belief in the industry that a turnaround for the construction sector is possible.
