Stora Enso’s giant Imatra sawmill project is progressing on schedule
Stora Enso's planned sawmill for Imatra would clearly be the largest in the country. It is clear that it will need the logs currently going from eastern Finland to Joutseno Honkalahti, and much more. According to the environmental permit and start-of-operation permit application prepared by the consulting company Afry, the sawmill will be located in the Tainionkoski factory area of the Imatra mills.
