The German producer price indices for spruce developed mostly downwards in February 2023. On average, the index for log wood decreased by -2,0% to 103,3 points. B qualities reached the level of 106,6 points ( -0,7% ), to which 3 m lengths contributed with -0,4% to 108,2 points. For 4/5 m lengths the German Federal Statistics Office (Destatis) calculated 107 points ( -0,6% ). C qualities in Febuary reached 93,3 points ( -6,3% ) with 102,8 points ( -2,5% ) for 3 m lengths and 97 points ( -2,1% ) for 4/5 m lengths.
