Softwood lumber exports from Belarus to the EU went up by 50%, despite export ban
Softwood lumber exports from Belarus to the European Union countries have went up during January - September 2017, by 47%, to a total of 1,262,007 m3. The EU top importer was Germany, which increased its softwood lumber imports from Belarus by 43%, to a total volume of 387,869 m3, during the mentioned period. Latvia also increased its imports, by 105%, to 270,036 m3, followed by Lithuania, where the softwood lumber imports from Belarus went 41% up, to 245,085 m3.
