Södra to cut prices
Due to an oversupply in the market, Södra will in September cut prices for softwood and hardwood pulpwood, fuelwood and forest residues. At the end of August, Mellanskog announced reductions for hardwood pulpwood and fuelwood, and now it’s Södra’s turn. According to the forest owners’ association, the mild winter of 2025 has contributed to abundant supply across several assortments.
