Södra to boost capacity by 50% at Kisa sawmill
Swedish forest industry group Södra will invest €130 million in its Kisa sawmill in Östergötland County, southern Sweden, boosting production capacity by 50% to 300,000 cubic metres per year. The investment, scheduled for completion in 2028, will secure the long-term future of the facility, which had faced the risk of closure, the company said in a statement. “Södra is stronger with the Kisa sawmill than without it.
