After Chinese imports of softwood lumber experienced a though first quarter, a significant recovery was noticed at the beginning of the second quarter.   The import volume in April climbed up to a total of 2.638 million cubic meters.  The import volume of all Chinese softwood lumber products increased by nearly 31% as compared with March, especially for spruce products, which increased by 18.7% compared with March.  China's spruce imports reached 1.05 million cubic meters, an increase of 160,000 cubic meters compared with the same period last year ...
