The forest industry in Russia is currently in a crisis situation because of the abnormally warm weather this winter. The alarm was raised in the timber industry of Primorsky Krai, in the Far East of the country.  According to Russian media, logging has stopped in almost all areas of the region due to the lack of frost.  Because of the warm weather conditions winter roads could not be build and also river crossings that require ice.
