Russia increases softwood lumber exports to China
In February 2022, Russia’s exports of softwood lumber to China expanded 6.9% year-on-year to 810.4 thousand m3. The value of exports jumped 29.0% to $179.8 million. Average price of softwood lumber increased 20.7% to $221.9 per m3. In February 2022, China’s imports of softwood lumber dropped 1.6% year-on-year to 1,131.9 thousand m3.
