Finnish wood pellets production amounted to 324,000 tonnes during 2017, one fifth more than in 2016 and the third highest result in history, since 2008's result of 373,000 tonnes.  As reported by the Natural Resource Institute Finland (Luke), another record was reached in Finland's wood pellets imports.
