Wood pellet manufacturers in Russia have recorded record export sales in 2017. For the full year, the country exported 1.4 million tonnes of pellets, which is a 26% increase over 2016.  All the previously commissioned plants reached their production capacities, and, together with new enterprises, they assured the export growth.  Yet, the major contribution to 2017’s results was given by “Vyborg Forestry Development Corporation”, a plant that has been idle in 2016.
