Pölky CEO Jari Suominen to step down after just 18 months
Jari Suominen will leave his role as CEO of Pölky, the Northern Finnish wood processing company, after approximately a year and a half in the position. Suominen began as CEO at the start of 2024. According to Suominen, the departure is amicable and has been mutually agreed upon with the company’s and group’s leadership. He emphasized that there is no drama involved. Pölky operates sawmills and further processing plants in Kuusamo, Taivalkoski, and Kajaani, as well as a pressure impregnation facility in Oulu.
