The price of pellets in Europe over the past decade has been characterized by very low dynamics. For example, the average annual growth in pellet prices in Germany from 2012 to 2021 was only 0.24%. Adjusted for inflation, prices even declined by 1.44%. During this period, there were significant jumps in oil prices, but the cost of wood pellets did not change at all.
