Norra Skog to upgrade Hissmofors sawmill
Norra Skog is investing SEK 100 million (EUR 8.7 million) in an upgrade of its sawmill in Hissmofors, operated by the association’s industrial branch, Norra Timber. The investment aims to increase production capacity by 10,000 cubic metres of sawn goods annually. The decision, approved by the association’s board, includes the installation of new equipment downstream from the saw line. Work is scheduled to begin this summer, with completion expected in autumn 2026.
