Poland’s revised timber sales rules, aimed at strengthening local industries and curbing exports outside the EU, have significantly impacted foreign demand for Polish wood. German companies, in particular, have reduced their participation in Polish timber tenders, according to Witold Koss, Director General of State Forests (PGL LP).
