Mellanskog cuts prices for first time in nearly six years
Mellanskog, one of Sweden’s leading wood suppliers, has reduced the base price of hardwood pulpwood by SEK 50 to SEK 580/m³fub (€52) and firewood by SEK 50 to SEK 500/m³fub (€45), effective August 20, 2025. This is the cooperative’s first price cut since October 2019, when it lowered pulpwood and sawlog rates due to high supply and weak global demand.
