Downward momentum eased in some framing lumber species in US. But even with quarter-end pressure to sell behind them, producers in the West continued to open to steep counters to draw in orders. Deep cuts were more spotty, but a few remained in the $30-50 range.  The Random Lengths Framing Lumber Composite Price fell an additional $16 for the week.
