Lithuanian Juodeliai to open a new sawmill

The Lithuanian company Juodeliai is putting into operation a new sawmill with an annual processing capacity of 1 million m³ of roundwood.   The creation of the enterprise, which will start operating in early October 2020, required an investment of 40 million euros.  The new plant is based on a Linck chipper line and Holtec roundwood sorting system. It is planned that the enterprise will mainly process hardwood and only a small part of softwoods. The staff of the enterprise will be 100 people.  The company notes that the sawmill will become the second largest ...
