Largest wood pellet producer in Poland to stop production

  Poland's largest wood pellet producer will halt production until mid-April as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.  Stelmet will gradually lower production across its plants and stop output completely from 1 April to mid-April.  Stelmet cited the restrictions caused by the coronavirus outbreak, which have affected the distribution logistics and safety of its workers, as the reason behind the production pause.  The firm produces wood pellets in two plants in Poland — at Zielona Gora and Grudziadz — with a total capacity of 150,000t/yr.
