Koskisen Oyj posts solid sawmill results in Q2, raw material prices slightly easing
Finnish wood products company Koskisen Oyj reported a satisfactory second quarter, with strong performance in its sawmill segment. Revenue for the quarter rose to €89.7 million, up from €77.8 million a year earlier. Operating profit reached €7 million and net profit €5 million, each up by €0.1 million. The improvement was driven mainly by enhanced profitability in the sawmill operations. The recent Iisvesi Forest business acquisition, completed in early June, had minimal impact on Q2 revenue and profitability.
