Karl Hedin sells 10,800 hectares of forest in Estonia
Karl Hedin AB has announced the sale of its Estonian subsidiary, Toftani Metsandus, which manages approximately 10,800 hectares of forest and land. The buyer is Metsavennaskond, a Tallinn-based company. The forests, located primarily in southern Estonia, contain around 1.1 million cubic meters of standing timber. The purchase price has not been disclosed. “I feel secure in transferring a well-managed forest property in Estonia to a new owner.
