Homann Holzwerkstoffe GmbH acquired a qualified minority stake in wood-based panel producer Nile Wood SAE, based in Sadat, Egypt, through a holding interest in Global MDF. As part of a joint venture with Egypt Kuwait Holding S.A.E. (EKH), which is listed on the Egyptian and Kuwaitistock exchanges, Homann Holzwerkstoffe is thus entering the fast-growing African and Middle East market.
