Holzindustrie Schweighofer to build biomass plant in Germany
Holzindustrie Schweighofer plans to construct a biomass cogeneration plant at its site in Kodersdorf, Germany. The plant is expected to be operational by 2020. According to the announcement, with EUR 24 million investment the company plans to build one of Germany’s most modern plants for the production of green energy. Kodersdorf sawmill is specialized in processing coniferous timber and has a cutting capacity of 1.2 million m3 of timber per year.
