Germany’s softwood lumber exports fall sharply in first half of 2025
In the first half of 2025, Germany exported approximately 3.47 million cubic meters (cbm) of softwood lumber, marking a 12% decrease compared to 3.92 million cbm in the same period of 2024. Despite the volume decline, the export value rose slightly by 2%, reaching about €953 million, up from €931 million in H1 2024.
