Germany: Wood products prices overview in February 2019
In February, the German producer price index for wood products has registered a high degree of stagnation as compared to January. However, compared to February 2018, most of the prices rose sharply. Spruce lumber, roof battens and raw particle boards are significantly more expensive over January. All other wood products have registered stable prices or even recorded declines. The latter applies also for timber and pellets. Compared with the same month last year almost all prices increased. The exceptions are beech blocks and HDF panels which are below last year's level.
