Germany: Rising pellet prices in November
The price of wood pellets in Germany rose by 2.8% in November as compared to the previous month. The current price for 6 tonnes purchases is EUR 253.88. One kilogram costs 25.39 cents, and one kilowatt hour (kWh) of heat 5.08 cents. The price advantage of pellets over heating oil is 21.4%, compared to 19.5% over natural gas.
