Pressure on EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is increasing regarding the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Last week, the EU Parliament demanded a practical and low-bureaucracy EUDR with a zero-risk category. Urgent letter from Germany Recently, 18 EU countries also urged EU Agriculture Commissioner Christophe Hansen and EU Environment Commissioner Jessika Roswall to simplify the EU Deforestation Regulation.
