Finnish sawmills perform weak in main markets; softwood lumber exports down 20%
Finland's softwood lumber exports to the world fell by almost 20% in the first nine months of the year. Exports to all markets, except de Middle East, have dropped considerably as compared to the same period of 2019: Finnish softwood lumber deliveries reached 5.4 million m3 during the mentioned period, a fall by 19% (1.3 million m3) as compared to the same period of 2019.
