Finnish lumber production increased during 2018

   Production volumes of the Finnish sawmills in the fourth quarter of 2018 fell slightly as compared to the same period of 2017. However, annual production of lumber increased, reaching 11.8 million cubic meters. Plywood production, on the other hand, fell by 0.9 per cent year-on-year.      Overall, production volumes in the Finnish forest industry rose high in 2018.
