In January-March, the value of Finland's forest industry exports fell by almost a quarter year-on-year to EUR 2.5 billion.  In the wood products industry, the value of exports fell by more than a quarter to EUR 530 million: the value of lumber exports fell by 30 per cent and plywood by 37 per cent.
