Finland: Softwood lumber to China collapse in 2018
The Finnish softwood lumber exports to the world dropped by -6% during January - December 2018, as compared to the same period of 2017. The softwood lumber volumes reached 8,0 million m3 during the mentioned period, a drop by more than 630,000 m3 as compared to 2017. The softwood lumber exports to the European Union grew slightly by 1%, reaching 3,2 million during January-December 2018, as compared to the 3,1 million exported in 2017.
