The Finnish production of sawn softwood reached 11,7 million m3 in 2017 and remained below forecasted figures. By the end of June 2018, production increased by 1% compared to last year and by the end of August 2%, respectively.  Estimate for 2018 is 12 mil m3. The production of redwood increased by 5% while white contracted by 1%.
