Estonia’s softwood log prices fall in Q4/2021, but remain at a very high level
During the last quarter of 2021, timber prices remained very high in Estonia, although softwood log prices have fallen. The key word in the fourth quarter of last year is the persistence of high or very high prices. Regarding specific assortments, the increase in the price of hardwood is particularly impressive. The average price level of softwood logs decreased by approximately 8% compared to the third quarter, while the price of spruce logs decreased more.
