China’s total forestry output might surpass 7 trillion RMB in 2017

The total forestry input of China might exceed 7 trillion RMB ($1 trillion) in 2017, as the country has become the most influential in forest products manufacturing, trading and consumption.  As reported by ECNS, Zhang Jianlong, the director of the State Forestry Administration (SFA), stated that China is also the fastest-growing country in the mentioned sector.  "China has a forest area of 208 million hectares with 15.137 billion cubic meters of forest stock, covering 21.66% of the country," Zhang noted.  China tops the world in the production of furniture, timber floors ...
