China takes the lead over Germany in exports of woodworking machinery
In 2024, Italy exported €1.55bn worth of goods, down 8% from €1.69bn the previous year. The main markets were the US (€177.2m, -4.3%), France (€175.7m, +19%), and Germany (€121.5m, -2.4%). Other destinations included Poland, Spain, the United Kingdom, China, Sweden, Turkey, and Belgium. Sales to Germany and China remained stable, while exports to France increased.
