China is ready to plant 6.6 million ha of forest by 2020
China intends to increase its forest coverage to 23%, by 2020, the State Forestry Administration said. The Chinese Government plans to plant 6.6 million hectares of forest – an area the size of Ireland – in 2018, a China Daily report stated, on Friday.
