China: 2021 logs and lumber imports rise in value thanks to higher prices

  In 2021, the value of China's lumber imports reached 7.179 billion US dollars, while the value of log imports reached 11.594 billion US dollars, an increase of 2.8% and 3.8% respectively compared with 2020..  In volume, China's softwood lumber imports in 2021 dropped by 26.2% year-on-year.
