Canfor to reopens two sawmills in BC
Canfor has announced the reopening of two B.C. area sawmills on Monday, 11th May. Its operations in Vanderhoof (Plateau) and in Chetwynd have resumed operating at four days a week, as will its Elko sawmill in the Kootenays, while its WynnWood sawmill in the Kootenays will run five days a week. Ongoing downtime at Houston, Isle Pierre, Polar and Radium is being extended until at least the middle of May. They had been scheduled to reopen on May 1.
