Bergs Timber installed a new edger at its mill in Orrefors, Sweden.  According to the announcement, the company has been working on the project to change the edge work on the saw line during the autumn 2018.  The mounting and commissioning went according to the schedule, the saw line including the edger was started January 3, 2019.  Besides getting a newer edging with higher availability, the change will also mean increased capacity and a better exchange of the side boards.  In 1H FY2017/18, Bergs Timber increased sales by 28%.   ...
